NuVsio did not start with a marketing idea. It started with my own skin. I am Dr. Elena Brei, PhD in Chemical Engineering, and for years I battled cystic acne, eczema, and psoriasis, while my mom struggled with rosacea. In my microbiome and mineral research I saw the real problem: we were damaging the skin’s living ecosystem and weakening its barrier.
In 2011 I created NuVsio as a technology driven, microbiome first solution. Every formula is natural, pure, and highly potent, with no fillers or trendy clutter. The Skin Microbiome is a diverse self-sustaining ecosystem of millions of microorganisms. These microorganisms play a critical role in the health of our skin, which translates into the way our skin looks, feels and behaves. These symbiotic microorganisms protect us against many skin conditions, diseases, and can even fight against some skin cancers. The microbiome releases skin healthy chemistries that help protect the skin as well as the microbiome, like a miniature health engine it protects both itself and us.
